---Natural Gas Chemical Industry

Give priority to develop natural gas chemical industrial base in northeast Sichuan. Give play to the resource advantage of Dazhou and speed up the development of large scale synthesis ammonia and methanol priority projects. Speed up the surveying and exploitation of the natural gas resources in Guang’an and Bazhong. Through technology introduction and independent innovation, make breakthrough natural chemical technology in high-end industry in Sichuan.

---Coal Chemical Industry

Give play to the advantage of south Sichuan coal resources and adopt a coal-electricity –railway-chemical industry development path to build coal chemical industrial base in south Sichuan. With Luzhou as the focal point, speed up development of coal gasification, ethanol and ethyl fuels, coal to olefin project and introduction and development of its downstream technology and products to promote the establishing of Chemical City in Luzhou. Continue to strengthen salt and sulphur phosphorous chemical bases in Deyang,Luzhou,Zigong,Yibin,Leshan and Suining and traditional natural gas chemical bases and proactively promote green and clean production.
